LOST WAX

We very much enjoy the design freedom provided in the lost wax casting method.  Many people have a vague notion of what’s involved – “Oh, yeah, I did a project in high school art class.” – but do not recall that the actual process is quite precise, complex, and time-consuming.  Here is an abbreviated photo presentation of the more important steps.  Truly!  This is the shortened view of lost wax casting!   Scroll UNDER each image to read text describing the steps.
